Frequency – „Of a Thousand Suns“ Izkar Producciones A BlankTV World Premiere!

Artist Biography: Frequency begun to took form in 2006 with memebers from several bands in Albacete. The line-up was Santiago Barbero (Voice), Juan Ángel López (guitar), David Cañizares (guitar), Pablo Gómez (Bass), Ignacio Merino (Drums) & Rafael Martínez (keys & synth).
From 2006 to 2009, the band creates two demos, Oniric & Prime. With these records Frequency is selected to participate in several contests at national level, achieving the price to the “best performance” & “best musician” to Juan Ángel López at the Memorial Alberto Cano in 2009.
In 2010 & with good feelings from the work done, Frequency tried to rise the their ambitions & begun to work exclusively in the composition of their first full-length CD. In July 2010 Rafael Martínez decided to left the band for personal reasons, bringing the band to dismiss their experimental side, focusing their compositions to a more straight forward Melodic death metal. After long time of hard work the band came with “Rotten Empire”, with ten Brand new cuts, recorded at Sadman Studios by Carlos Santos and mastered at Finnvox by Mika Jussila.
After the record the band sings with Suspiria Records for this new CD. 11/11/11 Rotten Empire is officially released & and it is praised by the press.
After this success Frequency starts touring in a gig called “Rotten Tour” with dates around all the country. As a recognition of their work Frequency wins the prize Carlos Pina to the creativity in the spanish rock 2012 in the category Death Metal, besides the band is chosen to the semifinal at WOA (Wacken Open Air) & is chosen also as a finalist in the contest Pop/Rock of Leioa.
In the end of 2012, with the band focused in the composition of their second studio effort “The Flow”, the band lose David Cañizares who is quickly replaced by Jose Luis Tobarra.
In May 2013 the band closes the composition proccess and returns to Sadman Studios with Carlos Santos for the record & Finnvox to the mastering with Mika Jussila. The Result of this are 15 cuts where the band shows its more aggresive & direct sound.
In mid-2013, Frequency signs with Stigia Promotions & Management & Izkar Productions for the promotion & scheduling of the gig “The Flow”.
