This is the super 16mm Affront „The Romance Is Dead“ music video. At the time I had just watched Bramstrokers Dracula and was feeling the silhouette battle scenes and also fell in love with the Siguros music video with the nuclear winter. I also wanted to do something that took a swipe at religion. The irony of that is we filmed this in a church because no one else would rent the size space we needed to us. We barely fit. We shipped in the backdrop in from Hollywood.
On our last day at the church during the clean up a whole group of midieval roleplaying swordsman showed up to joust each other and were pissed that we were in their practice space. It was surreal after doing such an intense shoot.
The irony of the irony is we had an angel committ suicide in a church on a sunday. Score!
