No shows, no practices, not seeing each other for five months but having started the band with distance as a conquerable boundary, Locked Inside looked at quarantine as an opportunity to try doing things differently… again.
With just enough audio scruples between them, they set out to start demoing new songs remotely, sending tracks back and forth as face to face collaboration in NYC is still deemed unsafe. With drummer Vinny Panza taking the controls and choosing fight over flight, they managed to put together a recording of Force Of Will, a track they debuted at the legendary Niagara (A7) in December. Missing none of the fidelity and power of their last record and with a DIY approach, the band has managed to keep the wheels moving forward with new material at a time when doing so has seemed impractical if not impossible to most.
