Artist Biography: The Prozacs are a punk rock band, hailing from Western Massachusetts. The band was started by frontman J Prozac in the fall of 2001, and has remained a fixture in the national and international pop punk scene. The band has seen tours with the likes of The Apers, Darlington, Murder Majesty, Johnie 3 and has shared the stage with bands such as Squirtgun, The Queers, Teenage Bottle Rocket, Even In Blackouts, Agent Orange, Misfits, Huntingtons, Big D and The Kids Table, The Casualties, Bigwig, Panet Smashers, Against All Authority and many more. The band has appeared on the Vans Warped Tour for a Massachusetts date and played several festivals, including several appearances at Insubordination Fest in Baltimore, MD. Drawing heavy from the 90’s Lookout Records era and proudly wearing their hearts on our sleeves, the band moves forward with new releases and shows into 2016.
About The Video: The music video for „A Little Something“ was shot and edited in March of 2016 by Al Liptak at the Kirby Productions studio in Westfield, Ma. The video features appearances by Mike Novelli (who shot and edited the video „In The Music“ for J Prozac and also includes Al Liptak playing bass) as the Bandit, and J Prozacs 10-year-old son, Tyler, as the Little Bandit. The video was set for a morning shoot and to be a straight ahead performance video. With a school delay that morning, J brought his son to the shoot, and the band, Mike Novelli and director Al Liptak came up with ideas on the fly for the additional sequences.
The song was recorded by Angelo Quaglia at AQ Productions Studios and Mastered by Mark Alan Miller at Sonelab in Easthampton, MA.
The song appears on the new CDEP, also titled „A Little Something“, and released with California pop punk label Outloud! Records.
