Artist Biography: AVEIRA SKIES are a 5 piece hardcore/metal act hailing from Perth, Western Australia. They made their live debut in the Perth music scene mid 2011 show casing what they have to offer with their blend of melodic riffs and heavy breakdowns. Within their first year they supported a string of National and International bands.
2011 also saw the band launch debut their EP „Longer Than Flesh, Longer Than Ashes“ which appearing on the iTunes Bestsellers Metal Charts.
After spending 2012 showing the Perth music scene what they had to offer, 2013 saw the band release their new single Mind Maps reaching number 1 on Triple J’s overall genre chart. Aveira Skies then toured Australia wide with I See The End (NSW) & Nicolas Cage Fighter (VIC) followed by the announcement of their Debut album which was to be recorded at Outhouse Studios (Architects, Your Demise, You Me At Six, Enter Shikari) in Reading, UK with renowned engineer Ben Humphries and mixed and Mastered by John Mitchell. Upon completion of recording in the UK the band departed Reading for their first UK tour with Victory Records band Continents (Wales).
Upon their return to Australia the band announced their signing to New Justice Records for the release of the album The Rise of a New Breed out now.
About The Video: The video shows the story of a person working a day to day job living day to day and not being content with his life until one day he decides he has had enough and decides to make choices that are better for him and goes out and leaves behind his life as he knew it. This is a representation of how a lot of people in this day and age live their lives.
