Artist Biography: Despite My Pride is an eclectic mix of punk, post-hardcore, rock, and whatever else we feel like. Our music is written to share the message of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has changed our lives and we aim to show his love. Our songs are aggressive and spastic with sections of synthesizers and ska-like guitar work. Apart from Jesus, originality is our priority. Our lyrics are heart-felt and poetic and our guitar work, bass and percussion are aggressive, yet tasteful. We have been described as sounding like The Chariot and The Venetia Fair. We’d like you to be the judge of that. We’re full of energy and surprises and we refuse to be another cliche disappointment in the metal-core scene.
