Artist Biography: BASED OUT OF WASHINGTON, DC THIS POST-HARDCORE 5 PIECES ACT FORMED AND DEBUT THIER FIRST RELEASE TITLED “IN YOUR MEMORY” IN 2013. THE BAND HAD A BIT OF STYLE CHANGES, QUICK ADDITIONS AND LINEUP ADJUSTMENTS THAT FINALLY FIRMED UP IN 2014 WITH A ROSTER CONSISTING OF SINGER OMAR VERAS, GUITARISTS CASEY ALLEN AND ALEX SCOTT, DRUMMER JOHNATHAN SHEPHARD AND BASSISTS TROY HUMPHREY. THEY FOLLOWED UP QUICKLY THAT YEAR, RELEASING REFLECTIONS WHILE THEY SLOWLY BUILT THEIR CREDENTIALS AND EVENTUALLY RELEASED THEIR FIRST VIDEO ON OCTOBER 20TH 2014 GIVING VIEWERS A FIRST LOOK AT IYM.
THEIR ALBUM AND VIDEO WAS SEEN AS A BREAKTHROUGH FOR THE BAND SINCE IT EXPANDED THEIR AUDIENCE. FOLLOWING THE SUCCESS OF THEIR COMICAL „LOL“ VIDEO THEY RECORDED AND RELEASED A COVER OF DISNEY’S MULAN „I’LL MAKE A MAN OUT OF YOU“ ON MAY 18TH 2015 WHICH PUSHED THEM EVEN FURTHER INTO THE INDUSTRY. THIS PAVED THE WAY TO THEIR 21DAY HEADLINING SUMMER TOUR WHICH HELPED LAND THEM A LOCAL SPOT ON WARPED TOUR ’15. THEY DON’T STRIVE IN BEING PERFECT BUT IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER WITH A PASSIONATE STAGE PRESENCE YOU HAVE MET YOUR MATCH.
About The Video: We made a compilation of three of our recent shows to display the emotion, passion and drive we put into our live sets. Everything we have put out has been more on the comical end of the spectrum but this time around we not only wanted to play with making things more urgent but also let everyone get a taste of what a live show feels like and what #SloppyVicious looks like. Matt did a great job capturing every moments and with that being said this is a first look towards a new sound we felt fits us more then the usual stuff posted online. Here is a taste of what’s to come on our next release that we will be tracking shortly this summer.
