Formed in January 2010, Northampton quartet Lay Siege create their own distinctive sound somewhere between metal and modern post-hardcore. Their debut mini-album „Obolus“ was recorded in 2011 with producer Jonny Renshaw and has been described as „deliciously sludgy“ and „full of head crushing riffs“. After proving themselves to be a formidable force in the Midlands underground scene, 2012 will see Lay Siege hit the road taking their passionate live show across the UK and Europe.
